Pitch Guidance

The Network prioritizes telling the stories of our members.

The Network prioritizes telling stories that align in some way with our 12 pillars.

STORY CATEGORIES

  • Ask the Expert – Are you a health care professional with women’s health expertise? If so, introduce yourself in the story summary and briefly list the specialties you could speak to on an Ask the Expert segment.
  • I Lived It – Will your health care story help others in some way? Are there things you wish you could go back and tell yourself before that story began for you? Let us help you amplify your voice in an I Lived It segment.
  • Deep Dive – Maybe you just wrote a book on a health related topic. Or maybe you just need the world to know about a little-known sector of health research that’s going to blow up soon, or about a serious gap in health care services that is harming millions. This is likely the segment for you.
  • Partner Spotlight – Does the work you’re doing align with the National Women’s Health Network’s vision, mission, and values? If so, pitch it below, and we’ll consider amplifying it on the podcast.
  • Activist Central – Are you a health and/or social justice activist with some wisdom to share? We’d love to feature you so that young people looking to make a real difference have the tools, tips, and training they need right at their fingertips!

Happy Pitching!
