Dr. Pinn served as the first full-time Director of the Office of Research on Women’s Health at the National Institutes of Health.
Vanessa Schick, Assistant Professor, University of Texas School of Public Health
A social psychologist, Vanessa is an activist who focuses her work on body acceptance as well as sexual and gender minority populations.
Sandra Kim, Founder, Everyday Feminism
Sandra leads one of the most popular independent feminist media sites in the world. She demonstrates an earnest commitment to intersectionality and radical inclusiveness in her work to promote feminist values.

Established in 2008, the Awards for Activism in Women’s Health honor Network co-founder Barbara Seaman and recognize work that exemplifies the spirit and approach of Barbara, including her unwavering insistence on listening to women, her dogged determination to see abuses corrected and her bridge building between generations.
